Jodi’s Trainings & Credentials
Energy Work, Reiki, & Consciousness
Energy work has become one of the primary foundations of both my personal practice and professional teaching.
My training includes:
Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki Master
Advanced Reiki training and Master-level practice grounded in traditional Reiki principles, energy awareness, self-practice and working with others.
Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki® Master
Advanced Reiki training emphasizing compassionate practice, expanded energetic awareness and practitioner development.
Antojai Quantum Reiki Master
Advanced energy-work training that contributed to my continued exploration of consciousness, intention and energetic facilitation.
Certified Quantum-Touch® Practitioner
Training in life-force energy practices, breath, awareness, intention and energetic facilitation that contributed to my developing understanding of energy, resonance and the body's responses to focused energetic practices.
Quantum Reiki — Creator & Educator
Quantum Reiki is my own evolving framework integrating foundations of Reiki with energy awareness, consciousness, coherence, intention, Universal Laws, discernment and embodied practice.
The curriculum has developed progressively through my own study, practice and teaching and now includes pathways for personal exploration, practitioner development and advanced study.
Specialized Energetic Study
My curiosity about energy has also led me into more specialized approaches exploring energetic patterns, emotional information and experiences sometimes understood through spiritual or multidimensional frameworks.
Certified Entity Interference & Multi-Dimensional Interference Practitioner — Tracey Gillies
Advanced training within an energetic and spiritual framework for exploring perceived energetic interference, attachments, environmental influences and multidimensional experiences, including approaches to energetic clearing and practitioner discernment.
I incorporate this training within my broader approach to energy work while maintaining an emphasis on client agency, neutrality and discernment. Experiences described as energetic or multidimensional are approached as part of a client's spiritual or energetic framework rather than as medical or psychological diagnoses.
Emotion Code & Body Code Techniques — Continuing Study
My continuing education and personal practice have also included techniques informed by the Emotion Code and Body Code systems, exploring possible relationships among emotions, beliefs, embodied experience and energetic patterns.
I have studied and practiced techniques from these systems but do not represent myself as a certified practitioner of these proprietary modalities. These approaches are additional maps within a much larger body of study—not explanations I impose upon another person's experience.
Sound Healing & Vibrational Practice
Sound became a natural extension of my energy work and eventually developed into a major part of both my individual and group facilitation.
Certified Sound Healer
My continuing sound education and practical experience include working with:
• Crystal singing bowls
• Himalayan and Tibetan singing bowls
• Gongs
• Drums and percussion
• Tuning forks
• Chimes
• Handpan
• Crystal harp
• Voice and toning
• Flutes and other melodic instruments
My study and practice have included sound and vibration, resonance, foundational music theory, intuitive facilitation, instrument application, session design and the creation of intentional individual and group sound experiences.
Creator & Educator — Sound Healing Facilitator Training
I developed my Sound Healing Facilitator Training to move beyond simply learning how to play instruments.
The curriculum combines virtual study, a comprehensive training manual, hands-on instrument education and practical group facilitation while exploring resonance, nervous-system awareness, intuitive listening, session development, ethics and practitioner presence.
My goal is to help students understand the principles, develop practical skill and discover their own authentic relationship with sound.
Movement, Fitness & Embodiment
Movement was part of my professional work long before energy healing.
My background began in fitness, exercise science, dance and group movement and gradually expanded toward a more integrated understanding of the relationships among movement, breath, awareness, energy and nervous-system state.
My training and experience include:
200-Hour Qigong & Yoga Training
Study and practice of Qigong and yoga incorporating movement, breath, energy awareness, mindfulness and meditative movement.
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer
Professional education in exercise science, physical fitness, movement and individualized exercise programming.
AFAA Group Exercise Instructor
Professional training in group exercise, movement, class design and safe and effective group facilitation.
Specialty Dance & Group Fitness Training
My additional instructor training has included:
• Zumba®
• RIPPED
• U-Jam Fitness®
These experiences expanded my understanding of rhythm, music, choreography, group energy and accessible movement instruction.
Co-Creator — Power Jam Dance Fitness
My experience eventually expanded from teaching established formats into co-creating Power Jam Dance Fitness, combining music, movement, choreography and community-centered group exercise.
Although my work has evolved considerably from traditional fitness, more than a decade of teaching movement continues to influence how I facilitate today.
Today, those skills show up through Qigong, mindful movement, stretching, grounding and simple embodiment practices that help bring awareness back into the body.
Continuing Study In Touch, Movement & The Body
My education continues to expand into gentle approaches to touch, positioning, movement and the relationships among physical tension, body awareness and embodied experience.
My current continuing studies include principles and techniques informed by:
• Thai massage
• Myofascial approaches, including study of the John F. Barnes approach
• Ortho-Bionomy®
I do not represent myself as a certified or licensed practitioner of these individual bodywork systems.
Instead, this continuing education expands my understanding of the body and may inform gentle supportive touch, positioning, movement, stretching and embodied-awareness practices incorporated within the appropriate scope of my work and with client consent. As my education evolves, this section will evolve with it.
Coaching, Mindset, & Universal Principles
My professional wellness education began with physical health and behavior change and gradually expanded into the relationships among thoughts, beliefs, emotional patterns, intention and personal responsibility.
My training includes:
Certified Health Coach
Professional education in health behavior, lifestyle practices and supporting sustainable change.
Certified Life Coach
Training in self-awareness, values, behavior change, goal development, accountability and supporting people in identifying their own resources and direction.
MindSHIFT Certification — Joy Kahn
Transformational coaching education exploring patterns of thought, belief and behavior and practical approaches for supporting shifts in awareness, perspective and personal experience.
Universal Laws Certification — Joy Kahn
Study and applied practice of Universal Laws as a spiritual and philosophical framework for exploring intention, alignment, personal responsibility, conscious creation and the relationship between our internal state and the way we engage with life.
These teachings have influenced the development of my own approach to coaching, Quantum Reiki and practitioner education—particularly my interest in helping people recognize patterns without becoming defined by them, clarify intentions without forcing outcomes and participate more consciously in their own experience.
Although traditional coaching is no longer the primary focus of my individual sessions, this background continues to influence how I listen, ask questions, teach and facilitate.
Mindfulness, Breath & Somatic Awareness
My work has also been shaped by years of personal practice, study and facilitation involving:
• Meditation and mindfulness
• Breath practices
• Guided visualization
• Somatic and body awareness
• Nervous-system regulation practices
• Embodied self-observation
• Energetic hygiene and self-regulation
These practices help bridge insight and embodiment—bringing awareness out of theory and into the way we actually experience ourselves in the present moment.
They also reinforce something I increasingly value:
Not every experience needs to be immediately interpreted.
Sometimes noticing is enough to begin.
Educator & Curriculum Developer
One of the most meaningful evolutions of my professional path has been moving from practitioner into educator and curriculum developer.
I create courses, manuals and experiential trainings that bring together concepts from energy work, sound, movement, consciousness, embodiment and practitioner development.
My educational work includes:
Quantum Reiki
A progressive system of study exploring Reiki, energy, consciousness, coherence, Universal Laws, discernment, facilitation and embodied practice.
Sound Healing Facilitator Training
An immersive practitioner curriculum combining sound theory, instruments, energetic awareness, nervous-system considerations, intuitive development, ethics and practical facilitation.
Reiki Education
Foundational through advanced Reiki education incorporating attunements, experiential practice, energy awareness and practitioner development.
Workshops, Retreats & Continuing Education
Experiential education incorporating energy, sound, Qigong, mindfulness, meditation, embodiment and practitioner development.
Professional Leadership & Community
My work also extends beyond my individual practice.
As a co-founder of Chico Holistic Wellness Center, I work within a collaborative community of practitioners representing different areas of holistic wellness.
That environment has reinforced something I deeply value:
No one practitioner needs to know or provide everything.
Responsible practice includes understanding our strengths.
Knowing the limits of our training.
Respecting the expertise of others.
Continuing to learn.
And recognizing when collaboration or referral may better support the person in front of us.
I believe collaboration strengthens holistic practice because different practitioners bring different maps, experiences and perspectives to the table.
